Timeline for filing of e-forms extended till 31st March 2023

Overview:

The Ministry of Corporate Affairs (“MCA”) has extended:

(i)    the timeline for filing of 45 company e-forms, PAS-03 and SPICE+ Part A in MCA 21 Version 3.0;

(ii)   extended the reservation period for the Company names reserved by the Registrar; and

(iii)  permitted physical filing of Form GNL-2, MGT-14, PAS-3, SH-8, SH-9 and SH-11 with the Registrar.

Technical Details:

MCA extended timeline for filing the following forms till 31st March 2023, without payment of additional fees:

1)    45 company e-Forms (due for filing between 7th February 2023 to 28th February 2023) & SPICE + Part A in MCA 21 Version 3.0; and

2)    PAS-03 (due for filing between 20th January 2023 to 28th February 2023).

MCA has also added an additional 20 days and 25 days, respectively to:

(i)    the timelines for resubmitting the applications for change of company name (due for filing between 23rd January 2023 and 28th February 2023); and

(ii)   the reservation period for company names reserved by the Registrar.

The MCA has further permitted physical filing of Form GNL-2, MGT-14, PAS-3, SH-8, SH-9 and SH-11 from 22nd February 2023 to 31st March 2023 with the concerned Registrar without payment of fee. Such filing will be accompanied with an undertaking from the Company to file the relevant Forms in electronic form on MCA-21 Portal alongwith applicable fee.
